Oktoberfest Calgary 2026
Join the German Canadian Club of Calgary and Schlaraffia Rocky Mountania for a community-friendly Oktoberfest celebration filled with German culture, music, food, tradition, and fun for all ages.
This special weekend brings our two organizations together to share the history, spirit, and joy of Oktoberfest while creating a welcoming event where cultures, families, and communities can come together. From traditional performances to great food, music, vendors, and family activities, Oktoberfest Calgary is a celebration of connection, heritage, and good times.
Guests can look forward to live music, Schuhplattler dancers, alphorn performances, German food, beer, a market with 50+ vendors, a classic German car show, family-friendly activities, a bouncy castle, and more.
Event Dates & Times
We are actively looking for local vendors that carry quality hand made items. From pottery, jewellery, pickles to beef jerk as well as food trucks. We will not accept vendors that do not make their own items, no mlm's, banks etc. Organizers will review each application at their own discretion.
Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Once the German Club reaches capacity, guests may be asked to wait until space becomes available. We recommend arriving early to enjoy the full experience.
October weather in Calgary can be unpredictable, so we recommend dressing in layers. A light jacket or sweater is a great ideaβit can help keep you comfortable if the weather is cool, and it's easy to take off should the day warm up.
Dust off your lederhosen and dirndls! Guests are encouraged to dress in their favourite traditional German attire for a chance to win our Best Dressed German Attire prize. A winner will be selected each day of Oktoberfest, so come dressed to impress and show off your Oktoberfest spirit!
To ensure a safe, family-friendly environment for all guests, Oktoberfest maintains a zero-tolerance policy for cannabis. The possession, consumption, or use of cannabis in any form is not permitted anywhere on the event grounds. Guests who do not comply may be asked to leave without a refund.
Don't forget to snap a photo with our Oktoberfest Queen and her entourage! ππ©πͺ
Keep an eye out for Oktoberfest Queen Petra as she makes her way throughout the festival. You'll find her strolling through the market, handing out prizes, entertaining guests in the Fest Hall, and spreading Oktoberfest cheer wherever she goes. Be sure to say hello, take a photo, and make it part of your Oktoberfest memories!
